Emma at Home
A city dweller for much of her life, Emma has always been captivated by the shapes and patterns in architecture, both contemporary and landmark. She also likes to bring a softness to some hard edges and a signature graphic approach to the designs in this category.
Born in Kyoto, Japan and brought up in a household filled with Asian objects, Emma has always felt drawn to Japanese design and to traditional themes and motifs in general. In this category, she both reinterprets design elements and theories -- some centuries old -- and adds her own, with a fresh perspective.
This category features designs inspired by or featuring natural objects, from shells to fish and flowers and more general organic forms.
